Treasure Chest At The End Of The Rainbow / Mutiny On The Bounty
Treasure Chest At The End Of The Rainbow / Mutiny On The Bounty
split - cd
new romance for kids
guided by format
You see me impressed and astonished. I mean Luxemburg is a rather small country and there are larger places that can’t offer two bands of this quality.

Both bands have an excellent production, supreme melodies, great songs and long names. The styles the band’s offer are quite similar as well as they both blend emo in the positive sense of the word with indie and postrock plus core as in hardcore. Both bands got incredible guitar riffs yet Treasure Chest On The End Of The Rainbow got a sound that’s a little more brilliant. I guess my mother could only distinguish the bands by the marginal sound differences and the different voices of the singers. Well, maybe the guitars of Mutiny On The Bounty are a little bit more incredible and Treasure Chest On The End Of The Rainbow (hail to copy and paste!) are a little straighter and more song oriented but at large they are both just great really!

I had already heard that New Romance For Kids from Montreal was a good Label but this maximum quality kinda strikes me. The only small minus is that there are no lyrics included and I always love to know what a band is singing about. Mutiny On The Bounty will be on tour with Jordan from France in October. You better don’t miss them! This is awesome.  [jan]
