So yeah, Against Me! are an awesome live band but does anyone need live records? I mean apart from “live at hammersmith” by Motörhead or “101” by Depeche Mode classics are rare in this field. Seldom do they catch the atmosphere of the show and often they are just a worse version of a best of compilation. I’m still not at all convinced that live records make any sense but I get along with this one because I simply love this band. We listened to it in the van over and over again while riding on the autobahn and we all had fun when every few minutes someone else simply had to singalong because the songs are so great and it grasps you when you hear the crowd singing.

This one even got a new, unreleased track and a bonus video. So maybe this is really one of the better live records. Still it completely fails capturing the feeling and the atmosphere of an Against Me! show mainly because this is simply impossible.

I’d say everyone who loves this band just like I do should check this one out. The rest should first get their live dvd because that one is even better because audiovisual rules over plain audio sometimes. ps: Please don't let the major label guys fuck your band up like they did to so many great bands.
