this is not your sountrack for violence - cd
horror business
Horror Business comes around with a compilation that reminds me a bit on the good old 90s or rather the gazillion tracks compilations Lost & Found released back then. For sure Lost & Found did blow but their compilation were always giving a good insight into what hardcore means to us in our backward nowhere suburb.

There is really a lot of similarities. First one is the cheapo price, second one is the broad range of quality. Some bands are awesome to the max (Nein Nein Nein, Tackleberry, Yacopsae) and some are quite the opposite (no dissing here…). All in all there is enough quality stuff onboard. A cool thing is that some bands are rather punk and some are rather hc. The differences maybe slight sometimes but this thing also represented in the two alternative frontcovers. One of which shows a rather punk crowd, one a rather hc crowd. Great idea but must there be a pali rag on one of the photos? That is a very explosive and highly mistakable symbol…

Save the best for last: The title is a very good statement. I don’t know to what extent all the bands on this cd do really stand for it but thanks for having a say. The cd comes for 5,- incl. postage inside germany and 10,- outside germany (international postage prices suck!) via label website.  [jan]
