welcome the - cd
let it burn
What I like about the info to this cd is that it doesn’t even try to tell anyone that this was hardcore. But the advertised thrash metal it is neither. It is rather bad metalcore in the vein of All Out War and other angry, angry bands. The very bad painting on the cover, the wannabe metal band logo and the ten thousandth repetition of well known metaphors in the lyrics make we me ask what the hell this is supposed to mean. The boring, boring riffs and the non-existence of anything unpredictable in the songwriting make me fall asleep. If I want thrash metal I listen to Destruction or Sodom or maybe Meshuggah.

The info says something of “in the vein of The Haunted, Hatesphere or even Carcass”. That is like saying Wagner sounds like Beethoven, Mozart or even Bach just because they are all composers. If it wasn’t the new band of that Dutch guy who used to sing in Shai Hulud this band would not get the slightest attention and it would be better this way. Uninspired and uninspiring bullshit.  [jan]
