Tatort Toilet
Tatort Toilet

A friend already told me Tatort Toilet are awesome and when I putt his one on I was amazed from the start. There is a fucking lot of energy in this record.

The band from Limburg plays more or less early punk in the vein of The Briefs or Regulations and they do it very, very well. The first song “just violence” is already a total kick in the ass and it’s got so awesome anti-nazi lyrics: “no communication, just violence. Kick him the dirt, no tolerance”. And all this is brought with great singalong choruses, adequate songwriting and a good production. The characteristic voice between Briefs and Toy Dollz is another plus. “no future is now” is another great line I simply gotta quote here.

Really good record but honestly I like the English lyrics better than the german ones and I like the faster songs better than the midtempo ones. One or two songs are not so good in my eyes but the rest of the songs and the pretty in pink artwork are more than enough reasons to check out this record. At least if the terms Dirtnap or Killed By Death mean anything to you.  [jan]
