Deadwood Divine
Deadwood Divine
s/t - lp
altin village
This re-release focuses just the music itself: the plain black artwork only shows the band’s name and the label written in basic white letters. Similarly the sound of the Deadwood Divine is plain and mostly reduced to Tom LoMacchio playing on his guitar and singing.

Originally released on Spearfinger Records in 1996, Altin Village did a limited repress of this classic over ten years later. The songs emerged from the time when Tom LoMachio used to sing in a hardcore band called Plunger. During songwriting sessions for Plunger there occurred some songs that didn’t fit the band. With this release the Deadwood Divine afford pioneer work for the emerging singer/songwriters out of the punk/hardcore scene. You can label Tom's works as „acoustic emo“ or rudely „folk“ - you can't ignore his origins as this is completely free of pop ascendancies. Imagine an unplugged mid 90ies emo band with rough edges.

13 songs including one Hated cover!  [benni]
