I feel bad about this one because this is one of the most promising releases I received in a long period and somehow it took me months write these lines. This three song debut release of Patterns from Cologne is so small and perfect at the same time. Three songs in about 8 minutes meet a plain but highly eye catching artwork. Patterns deliver three postpunk / no wave / indie tunes in the vein of early Q And Not U meets Gang Of Four meets Les Savy Fav. A bit dancefloor compatible guitars meet a snotty singer and with punk attidtude.
