Good With The Girls are a quite new band from Hamburg and once again I must really wonder what is creeping out of the Hansestadt’s basements and bunkers without great public recognition. Klartext just releases a compilation called “hansepunx” and almost every band on it sucked. Why does shit like that represent this city while there is young, powerful bands like this one?
The band plays rhythmic posthardcore with screamed vocals and a slight indie edge that far outranges every fucking release on Victory and co. within months! Maybe these guys don’t invent anything brand new but they already got an individual style and especially “wartime blue floodlight” and “our windowless minds” are really good. I really hope they will stay on track and play a lot because it would be a shame if they went stale in their rehearsal room!
The sound is also more than okay for a self released cd-r that btw contains six songs. So don’t hesitate to check them out. And when we meet again you can tell me what the heck your band’s name is about while we have a Premium Cola or something, okay?
