The Miracle from Milan kinda misleaded me with their cover artwork. The premium style silver print made me expect some melodramatic metalcore but what is coming out of my stereo right now is sort of contemporary US styled modern hardcore somewhere between north western bands like Champion and Burden and the last Comeback Kid record meaning maximum singalong and fingerpointig action.
Seems like the times where Italy hardcore stood for bad clones with poor sound and little skills is over. This one can easily concur with its north american and orth of the alpes colleagues both production and musicwise. Still Life seems to have a good hand for promising bands. Not exactly my pair of dancing shoes but I would be a hypocrite and a liar if I didn’t tell you that The Miracle put out a really good record. The only thing I’d find fault is that there are a little to many moshy parts. This band is just a lot better when they push the accelerator. I hope friends of this genre will find out about this one, honestly…
