f.t.w. - 10"/cd
vinyl junkies
First of all it is not nice to send cds for reviewing and not include the booklet, artwork or whatever. Just a plain cd and an info sheet are not enough. What about the lyrics for example? In fact the only reason I write this review however is to say that I will not again review cds sent without artwork!

Okay, now the record: This band from Saarland plays mediocre metallic hardcore with pseudo-aggressive, throaty vocals. Some guitar lines get really close to being good hookline but all in all this is pointless. The band info is a perfect example of how not to write one with a minutious babbling about who when joined the band and who left it while not saying anything about what their intention is. Plus most of the bands namedropped are really, really, really shitty! I mean how can you be proud of having played with backwards minded pissers like Backfire? Ever read their lyrics?

The little pieces of lyrics I get while typing make it seem like a good idea not to hand them out. Brotherhood, unity, bla… If this is hardcore I’d rather be a punk. Music for people that I don’t like.  [jan]
