Turbostaat are as huge as always. The vocals have moved slightly but not severely to the rougher side. The harmonies and melodies are great and the lyrics once again hit the right middle lane between direct and cryptic. “haubentaucherwelten” is a typical Turbostaat-stomper fit to fill the dancefloors of all the tastier clubs around while “pingpongpunk” on the flipside is a little more weird and showing the band is willing not to only copy itself but still it’s good and the bonus choir track is really neat.

I already see myself at a Turbostaat show screaming “und den wind” to the refrain of “haubentaucherwelpen” and I’m looking forward to it. Nice, simple artwork and a lovely lyrics sheet as well. Nothing to complain about. Danke Schiffen!  [jan]
