I’ve listened to this record for a couple of times now but still I can’t really befriend it. However I don’t know why. There isn’t much to hate about. Fashionable postpunk, nice artwork with special gold print and the lyrics are fine. I also like the title. Is anti-anti = pro? Or is anti-anti even more anti than anti alone?
I guess what I dislike about it, is that I got this feeling that I’ve already heard it before. It sounds like a mix of Interpol and Arcade Fire. Both good bands though and the blend is fine as well. But do I need it? I guess I listen too much to black metal right now to judge that half way objectively. Arne of Just Went Black says it is good and he got a formidable taste in music. So we might very well believe him!
