The Good Good are from New York and queue in the line of weird shit coming out of this moloch in the past few years. If you think of Animal Collective, The Liars and consorts you know quite the direction this band is taking.
Three multi-instrumentalists create free form lo-fi folk music for advanced listening pleasure. This is just the kind of music I would really love to love and I am sure it is damn good, but somehow I lack the patience. Or rather I can’t imagine a situation in which I want to listen to this. It is unsuitable for background music because it needs too much attention and I can’t listen to it with full attention because it makes me want to smash the furnishing of my bourgeois home. If I was satisfied with my life I would listen to bands like this on my mp3-porty while… well I guess my problem is that I don’t know what I have to do to be satisfied… Does anyone need a creative weirdo capable to produce loads of semi-stupid writings on every topic under the sun? If so drop me a line…
