Cobretti hail from Köln and play hardcore with a “pissed on punkrock attitude”.
Prefixless hardcore east cost style. If they were a little faster and the vocals were different they might maybe sound like Ensign. For my taste there is still a little too much metal and not enough punk. Don’t get me wrong. Metal is fine but that doesn’t mean that it always fits well into hardcore music. All that dead note scrubbing is not my pair of dancing shoes.
All in all this is a descent hardcore record with okay lyrics and supposedly the right attitude (pissed on is good!). I think I’d like it a lot better if the vocals were more shouted and less pressed and throaty. Within the narrow world of hardcore this is good but now outstanding. But if I got this hardcore thing right being outstanding and unique isn’t really the goal set to accomplish, right?
