Young Widows are Breather Resist minus lead singer Steve Sindoni with now the guys on the stringed instruments singing.
As you might imagine if you know Breather Resist this record does not contain cheesy pop songs or anything even close to average hardcore or punk. Like their precursor the most sufficient terminus to describe them is: breaker. Cumbersome like blocks of concrete in a sandbox they produce a monster of noisy guitars and hauling grooves. There is so much reverb that you feel like being in a giant tin can, strange but it works out in a way.
It is not completely my cup of latte macchiato but I see the beauty of it. If you are a friend of feeling claustrophobic and autoaggressive at the same point of time you must check this out. I would never trust someone who listens to this band for breakfast…
