Yeah, a cdr with copied covers, but the refreshingly nice and unpretentious promo sheet explains this by the fact that the record is going to be released on vinyl only in a limited pressing of 300 copies. Fair enough.
As for the music: imagine a snottier version of Duesenjäger with lyrics in English and you’re quite there. Rock nerd-ness galore, combined with a love for vinyl and none for macho bullshit. There’s a song on the album called “Dating Hank”, which I suppose is some kind of left-handed, smirky Turbonegro piss take, it’s quite cool alright but it also more than just hints at the possibility that The Grizzly Adams Band are somewhat trapped in their own context, for bad or for worse… nah, I guess they’re totally ok in the nice sense of the word. They’re going to sell the 300 copies of their album to their friends at their concerts and have the time of their lives doing that, and considering that this is most likely the main ambition of the band that’s just fine. Rock on, etc.
