The Tangled Lines
The Tangled Lines
wash the shit off - 7"
refuse
Iíve seen The Tangled Lines live only once up to now, two years ago at Fluff Fest. They were really awesome. The singer with the fairy dress and the rest of the band in their spacko uniforms. Of course the crowd went crazy and we had some giant circle pits. Now they got their first non-split vinyl out and I am blown away.

This really is their best shit so far. Eight short and tight thrashy hardcore songs that almost explode because of too much power and energy. The lyrics are once again killer. ďwith make up and a push up braĒ is riot grrrl attitude gone thrashcore. Awesome. There is so many great singalongs on this record and the backings sound so un-macho. I love it.

They also became really variable in terms of speed which makes the songs very diversified. Circle pit speed parts alter with unpretentiously grooving downtempo parts but in the end most of the time they are just blowing away everything full speed ahead. And the artwork is so damn great. Totally fucking awesome record!!!  [jan]
