Potty Umbrella have been writing music for theatre plays and are looking forward to hopefully having their music on movie scores as well. However decided to work with them in these things has made a good decision.
Even on cd their music sounds like a score to some movie. However it is hard imagine what this movie would look like. Sometimes I think of “blade runner” and sometimes I think of cinema noir or even “dick tracy”. The drummer gives the whole thing a very jazzy foundation while the guitars and the many synths create many layers atmospheric soundscapes. It is good. No question. But I would not listen to this at home or go to a show to see it. Just not so much my cup of tea. I can’t even label it correctly. Jazzrock? Prog? Dunno… Anyway, good luck!
