In mid-autumn I got a cd from Midsummer Records in the mail. The Millboard Message play emopop / poppunk or however you wanna call it. Think of Saves The Day, Thursday, Coheed And Cambria and others.
I remember the time between 2000 and 2001 when this kind of music got bigger and there were countless bands playing this kind of music. Unfortunately all their releases are so common. They all try to sound like their north american examples without ever being that creative. The artworks of the mostly cd only releases all look so clean and ambitious while never having a value of recognizability.
It simply bores me to death. Itīs not 2001 anymore. Try something new! Create something unique. Please!
