Their first output features six songs in fourteen very entertaining minutes. Broken beats, old school synth sounds and double vocals put together to crazy yet catchy tunes. I want to see people dance to this. It must look so much better than the average minimal techno zombie dance. This defies pretty much every attempt of categorization. I’ll try it anyway and call it hyperactive electrothrashpunk.

The two of them got a good hand for hooks and melodies although they often hide between noises and rhythmic breaks. They’ve just been on tour with GTUK which kind of an obvious combination. If there is any music act I know that can compare to Les Trucs it would be GTUK but minus gabber and 90s rave plus midtempo and dodgyness. Let’s dance!  [jan]
