Aussenseiter-PC is a solo project of Saep, primary known as guitar player in Escapado. One man and his acoustic guitar (and a drum computer every now and then), seven songs, half of them instrumentals, one of them some sort of Escapado cover, 14 minutes and 20 seconds. This is right the weak point. This kind of very calm music would be good for at least twice this time. When you just got the groove the joy is over and as it is a tape you cannot even push the repeat button... But hey, don't get me wrong. Double thumbs up for tapes! Another point that is disturbing me is that the song I like best „august: 23°c“ right in the middle has such a different, swinging mood that it doesn't really fit in so well. Nevertheless I enjoy this tape whenever I listen to it and finding the twinkling heart on the inside made me smile. But doesn't the first song begin like a certain song from Metallica's black album?;) [jan]
