Sidetracked are one of the few reasons for not giving up on the hardcore scene in Germany completely. They got better and more substantial lyrics than most bands around, they are the nicer folk to hang out with and their musical mix of Sinking Ships’ hopelessness, Dead Stop’s purposeful aggression and Cut The Shit’s dirty thrash style make them a better listen than all those modern hardcore wannabes, the thrashcore boys club or the youth crew kindergarten.
This 7” with six songs comes in a nice packaging made of some special cardboard, the thanks list contains shout outs to antifascist actions and everyone whose still down with d.i.y.. Should be a standard in hc/punk but it isn’t. thanks for keeping the spirit alive!
And as bonus you can play the record in 33 instead of 45 and you’ll get a decent crust record ;)
