This is great, modern, passionate hardcore with angry, biting sound.
Nothing new? Heard a thousand times?
Yes, sure. But Frivolvol now add some fancy Snapcase –like new school riffs and grooves (Yeah!) and a whole lot of Crust Punk energy (double YEAH!) and really really kick some ass! Doesn’t that sound nice?
Yes, it does. A great record, that often reminds me of the wonderful Now-Denial but just a lot more new school.
And another reason to mention them: they are from Finland. This record is released on the sympathetic, finnish label if society, that features a lot of great finish underground bands way beyond Humpa, Him and Höhnie Punk. And there are really a lot of great bands to discover, from noise rock to electronic stuff. Totally supportable!! [marius]
