Travels is Mona and Anar from Massachusetts playing some kind of sadcore emo indie pop. Most of the ten songs on this record are were calm and somehow cosy. Warm guitar tunes meet synthetic beats and various other sources of noise. It’s a very lovely, quiet little record with a beautiful artwork. Nothing to mourn about music-wise. It’s a little sad that the booklet doesn’t contain the lyrics. If quiet is still the new loud this one is quite a screamer. [jan]
