The album version is still hot and one of the album’s best tracks. Most of the remixes are rather technoid. The 1 Foot In Da Rave rmx reminds me of French stuff like Mr. Oizo. However it’s from Berlin. Clintwood from Hamburg turns the song into good IDM. Krink is from Hamburg, too, and his remix is this release’s highlight. Hard hitting techno. Also pretty French. Schlachthofbronx, like Frittenbude from Munich, are pretty good, technoid electroclash or something but their recombination of the lyrics are a little too “funny” for my taste. Trasig are from Sweden and I’ve seen them destroy Supershirt at Lokal some weeks ago. They were awesome. However their remix is rather lame and got a much too undistinguished sound for real dancefloor action. Well, it’s still better than the totally superfluous “trashmetalfickkke”. I guess this is supposed to be funny but it’s just bad…

All in all one album track, three really good remixes and two tracks that you can delete after listening to them once. Good quota. Frittenbude are definitely one of today’s hottest things around. But where the hell is the totally fucking excellent remix of the song that Juri Gagarin played at SO36 last week?!?  [jan]
