The new ZineZine is out. ZineZine is a zine about zines wich wants to conect the german zinesters and give an overview. In number three again reviews take a big part, but this time the rest is also very interesting. The fokus went away from pure information. There are not so many interviews, instead of there is a way of indirect speech. For example a text by frederic who writes about political zines. He criticises that often the political acctivism remains in a kind of common sense wich is not able to see through the abstract and complex aspects of capitalism. By not understanding this, frederic describes this very good in the categories of marx, the political activism leads to regressive moments or thought to their end to regression. Antother very interesting article in the number three is related to frederics text. It is a discussion about antiamericanism and a review wich was written in ZineZine #2 i guess. Not everyone involved in the ZineZine agreed with the review wich reacts in harsh( but necessary) words to the comparing of hitler and bush wich is done in the criticised zine.
There is also an interview with noya from israel who does the patrol. Patrol is fantastic egozine, i only know #3, but this was very good. Another Interview was done with Franz Bielmeier who once did “the Ostrich” the first german fanzine ever. This interview is also quite interesting and long. Other topics are the reaction of zinezine readers to the question “are zines for shitting?”- wich deals with the places where people read zines.
