Plemo / Tobiah
Plemo / Tobiah
split - 7"
audiolith
Here we are a new split 7“ out on Audiolith, Hamburg’s finest electrowhatever label. Did I ever mention that I love this label? Well, I do and if I didn’t this record could make me do.

Plemo kicks off with a flashy 80s influenced floorfiller. It makes me think of Flashdance, Opel Mantas, CC Catch music video where people with stonewashed jeans clothes and horrible haircuts dance in front of a stroboscope. Sounds like I would hate this shit, eh? But hell no, I love it. The beats rules supreme and the lyrics in the refrain are such a fucking hook. I can hardly get it out of my ears. Hit!

Well it’s kinda trippy and hypnotic and “romeo” is it as well with its repetitive sequencer line and the soft beat. Not as great as Plemo on the other side of the vinyl but still a good one.

The Plemo homepage says this record is strictly limited, so you better get your hands on it soon because this song “flashlight” is a serious killer! Auf jedsten aller…  [jan]
